Dear Dependent one's,
Do not let this one fact escape your notice beloved - God is able and wants to do far more than you could ever imagine or request in your wildest dreams! Let me remind you however that most of His miraculous work is in our inner man. In the first three chapters of Ephesians the only thing we are told to do is remember. Paul exhorts us beginning in chapter four to work out and live out what God has worked in and is working out according to His power. Listen to Paul's words in Ephesians 4:1-3: "In light of all this, here's what I want you to do. While I'm locked up here, a prisoner for the Master, I want you to get out there and walk - better yet, run! - on the road God called you to travel. I don't want any of you sitting around on your hands. I don't want you strolling off, down some path that goes nowhere. And mark that you do this with humility and discipline - not in fits and starts, but steadily, pouring yourselves out for each other in acts of love, alert at noticing differences and quick on mending fences." (The Message) It isn't possible to pour out acts of love without the power of God operating in our lives. We are unable - He is able! When I think about those who pour out acts of love I think of mother's. Sunday is "Mother's Day" you know! The NASV uses these words in Ephesians 4:1-3 - humility, gentleness, patience, forbearance, love, unity and peace. Seven beautiful words but even mother's are unable to manifest these qualities without the power of the Holy Spirit! Mother's are unable - He is able! Pray and invite your mother or grandmother to church on "Mother's Day." Looking forward to seeing you Sunday. Because He is able,
