"Imitating the Son - Walking in Harmony!"

Message by Glen Miller from Ephesians 5:22-5:33 in the series: Discovering Your Destiny! (The Majesty and Mystery of God's Will)

Glen's email of the week:

Dearly beloved,

It was so good seeing so many of you yesterday!  Was your favorite part of the morning the fire drill?  It did provide some great opportunities to talk.  In fact we met a new couple in the parking lot that just moved from Florida.  We had the privilege of enjoying lunch with them and a few other young couples.

I just wanted to remind you about our prayer meeting tomorrow night (Tuesday) in the sanctuary from 6:30-7:30 p.m.  Avery will lead us in time of praise and then we will continue to seek His face.  "Seek the Lord while He may be found; call upon Him
while He is near.  Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts, and let him return to the Lord, and He will have compassion on him and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon."  Isaiah 55:6-7

This Sunday morning we will be focusing on the mystery of Christ and the church and dealing with conflict biblically.  If you are filled with the Spirit will you experience conflict in relationships?  Is conflict sinful?  Our biblical text will be Ephesians 5:22-33.  We spent a few weeks late last year on the family and so we will not be examining this passage in detail. The Bible is the greatest marriage and family manual in the world.  I trust that you are reading it and following His marvelous instructions?  My prayer for you this week is that you would. "Let, the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with Thankfulness in your hearts to God."

Because Jesus is alive,
Glen
