Elective Classes

Elective classes are offered at various times during the week. They provide a great opportunity for you to share some area you have studied in depth with other interested people. Their limited time span means you can share your gifts without making a long-term commitment. Use this flyer to invite your friends.

A Harmony of the Gospels -- Jesus' Second Year of Ministry

Ken Gilbert continues the series on the harmony of the Gospels with an 20-week class on Jesus' third year of ministry. The class meets Sundays 6:30-8pm in room 3171. We explore and compare how the four gospel writers describe Jesus' third year of ministry, from His feeding of the 4000 to the increased attacks by the Pharisees, and to the resurrection of Lazarus. All are welcome.

Total Marriage class

September 20 through early-June 2010 at 9am. This discussion-oriented Sunday School class for married, engaged, and pre-engaged couples of all ages and stages of life focuses on God's design and plan for marriage. Our goal is to help each couple understand and apply the foremost commandment, that is, to love God with all you've got so that you can love your spouse, your nearest neighbor, as you love yourself. Our hope is that the teaching, discussion, fellowship, and sharing from our own 28+ years of marriage will help each couple grow toward an even more fulfilling, lifelong marriage. Contact Jon Drake for more information or to sign up (RSVP required) for the class.
