Knowing
At Valley Church, we desire to help people become passionate worshipers of Jesus. In the Knowing area, we want to see people become intimately connected to God in their lifestyle of worship, no matter what stage of their spiritual journey they may be in.
"Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you for the glory of God." -- Romans 15:7

"Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks." -- John 4:23
Worship is vital to the life of a disciple of Christ. It is an essential part of what it means to be a Christian. In order to cultivate a lifestyle of worship, we believe it is important to help people engage both the individual and corporate expressions of worship.
The earlier Sunday morning service uses music of a traditional style. Hymns are from the Protestant tradition of the last 350 years. Most services include an organ prelude and postlude and an anthem by the Joyful Sounds adult choir. Special music comes from handbell ensembles, pianists, instrumental soloists, and an occasional appearance by the orchestra. Our brass ensemble brings us special musical treats.
The later Sunday morning service uses music of a contemporary style of the last decade or two. The Worship Team is a vocal and instrumental band.

At Valley Church it is our desire to provide teaching and preaching that is biblically sound and culturally relevant. We have a team of pastoral staff who work together to achieve this goal on a weekly basis in our corporate worship gatherings. Contact Kurt Jones for more information.
