God is truly bringing the nations to our doorstep! Here at Valley we have the privilege and honor to offer friendship to international students who attend school at De Anza College. God has laid it on the hearts of leaders of Valley Church to host a weekly meeting called "International Students Fellowship" on Friday nights, 7-9 pm in the Student Center. Each week students come and share in a pot luck meal with those from our church and others from local churches. Our evenings are spent building relationship with these students and God is blessing the ministry. We are beginning to see much fruit to this ministry as students are genuinely interested in knowing about God and His love for them. Contact Dennis Low.
A new group of international students will be starting school at De Anza College. To begin the process of building new relationships with these new students, Valley Church will be hosting a welcome dinner Thursday, August 19, 4:30-7pm, at the Student Center. Please consider coming to welcome our new neighbors and show the love of Christ to each of them. For more information about the ongoing ministry to international students and the welcome dinner coming up, please Contact Dennis Low. We need table hosts and food servers and folks to help prepare the meal, and people to help direct students walking from De Anza, so please prayerfully consider this strategic opportunity.
