Women Helping Women (WHW) is a ministry of women at Valley Church who have been called to become trained listeners for other women in the church who need a confidential place to talk about various problems. See our cards for more about this ministry.
The WHW listeners have learned and practiced various listening skills for over three years. This is not counseling, but a listening ministry. They serve women in the congregation (or even outside of Valley Church) who may benefit from the encouragement of these listeners.
If you are a woman who might need or want this kind of support, you can call Marion Noble to be matched with a listener. The number of meetings may range from 2 to 12, but may be extended according to the need.
For more information on any of the above, Contact Womens Ministries.
